Candle Care
Candle Care
IMPORTANT - Please follow the below ‘ Candle Care’ instructions to get the most enjoyment from your candle and to encourage a safe candle burning experience.
- ALWAYS - Place on a fire resistant even surface
- NEVER - leave a lit candle unattended, keep away from pets and children.
- AVOID - exposure to drafts
- CREATE A BURN MEMORY - Always allow the melted wax to reach the sides of the candle vessel for the first burn. This creates a burn memory which will prevent your candle from tunneling and creates and even burn ensuring you get the maximum burn time out of your candle.
- TRIM YOUR WICK - Ensure to trim your wick/s to a maximum of 5 mm (1/4") before relighting each and every time. This is very important as it will reduce any smoke & mushrooming of the pure cotton wick encouraging a longer burn time.
- BURN TIMES
- Burn time - Medium amber coastal cottage candle - maximum burn time of 2 hrs each time.
- Burn time - Large white beach house candle - maximum burn time of 3 hrs each time.
- ALWAYS - leave 1.5cm of wax remaining at bottom of vessel
- CAUTION - container may become hot at the end of combustion
- ALWAYS - store candle in a cool dry place, below 25° c and away from direct sunlight. When not in use cover your candle with the lid to protect your wax from dust, which can dull its scent and cause problems during burning.
- USE - your candle in a reasonable time to make the most of it's beautiful fragrance.
